Anita completed her education step by step, starting at Bolingbrook High School in 1992 and continuing to Adrian College, where she earned her degree in 1996. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate from Maurer School of Law at Indiana University Bloomington in 1999.
Anita has been recognized repeatedly for her leadership, including the 2012 Bolingbrook Female Citizen of the Year, the 2013 DuPage NAACP President’s Award, the 2013 DuPage NAACP Audley Award for Leadership, the 2017 Super Lawyer Award, and the Top 100 National Black Lawyers distinction, reflecting her long-standing professional dedication.
