Amber Mikula has spent more than twenty-five years assisting Illinois clients in family law and real estate matters, offering clear explanations and dependable support. Amber earned a Bachelor of Science from Lewis University with a double major in Chemistry and Mathematics before completing her Juris Doctorate at John Marshall Law School/UIC. Her strong academic background helps her approach complex issues with precision while maintaining practical solutions for the people she serves.
Amber assists clients in divorce and parentage matters, including child support, parenting time, decision-making responsibilities, and the division of assets and debts. She works carefully to reduce conflict and steer families toward results that support stability and long-term well-being for everyone involved.
Amber serves in several key roles within Will County, including Mediator, Guardian Ad Litem, and Parenting Coordinator. Through this work, she develops a deeper understanding of the needs of parents and children, allowing her to guide families toward solutions that are balanced, practical, and centered on fairness.
Amber contributes to the legal profession through active participation in the Illinois State Bar Association and the Will County Bar Association, where she serves as Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee. She also writes articles for the Law Office Management and Economics Committee newsletter, sharing insight with fellow practitioners.
