Angela Mason

Angela Mason is the managing partner of The Cochran Firm – Dothan and serves on the Board of Directors for the National Cochran Firm. She has practiced law since 1996 and focuses primarily on complex personal injury and mass tort litigation. Her work includes claims against pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and corporations accused of causing serious injury, denying fair wages, or contaminating people and property.

Mason earned a B.A. with Highest Honors and an M.A. with Highest Honors from Auburn University. She later earned a J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Judge Ira DeMent in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama before entering private practice and building a plaintiff-side litigation career.

Mason has worked on major multidistrict litigation involving DePuy ASR hips, DePuy Pinnacle hips, and Yasmin and Yaz products, including service on discovery and bellwether trial teams. She was also appointed to the Plaintiffs Steering Committee in litigation involving Just For Men hair color. Her environmental work included Perrine v. E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company, a case that resulted in a substantial consumer verdict.

Angela Mason has received recognition from trial-lawyer organizations and was a finalist for the Public Justice Foundation’s Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in 2008. She is licensed in Alabama, Georgia, and Washington, DC and has worked with trial teams around the country. Her practice combines leadership, mass-tort experience, and sustained advocacy for people alleging harm from products, environmental exposure, and corporate conduct.
