Andy Fick

Andy Fick is a partner with Fuller Williamson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He joined the firm in 2018 and became a partner in 2024. His work is grounded in civil litigation and trial advocacy, including matters within a firm known for personal injury and complex disputes. He brings federal appellate and district-court clerkship experience to case analysis, written advocacy, motion practice, and preparation for contested proceedings.

Andy attended the University of South Dakota, where he studied English, Political Science, and Criminal Justice. He later attended the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law and graduated at the top of his class. During law school, he served as an editor of the South Dakota Law Review and as president of the law school’s trial team, developing strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Andy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Karen Schreier of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota, Southern Division, and for the Honorable Roger Wollman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Those clerkships provided close exposure to federal litigation, judicial decision-making, appellate analysis, and the standards courts use to evaluate legal arguments and factual records.

Andy Fick is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers’ Association. His academic record, trial-team leadership, and federal clerkships support a litigation practice built on careful analysis and persuasive advocacy. He helps develop cases with attention to the governing law, evidentiary record, written submissions, and courtroom strategy, bringing a disciplined approach to personal injury and other civil disputes.
