Andrew Spielberger

Andrew Spielberger is a seasoned plaintiff’s attorney with nearly 30 years of legal experience in complex civil litigation. He values the opportunity to help people through difficult times and finds purpose in guiding clients toward justice. His practice spans trial advocacy, appellate work, and detailed case preparation in courts throughout California.

Andrew earned his Juris Doctor in 1985 from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law. After completing his Juris Doctor, he began practicing medical malpractice defense law. This early experience in defense litigation provided him with a strong foundation in courtroom procedure, legal research, and case strategy.

Andrew later expanded his practice into entertainment law, managing a defense firm’s Entertainment Law Division before opening his own practice in 1987. As a sole practitioner, he handled transactional matters involving the production and financing of independent films. He also represented writers, actors and directors of motion pictures in various business and contract matters.

Andrew returned to defense litigation in 1993, gaining valuable insight into the insurance defense industry. In 1997, he transitioned to plaintiffs’ work and spent the next decade as a managing attorney at a plaintiffs’ firm. He argued hundreds of motions in California Superior Courts, the California Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts in multiple states.

Andrew Spielberger has earned recognition as a Southern California Super Lawyer (2013-2025), Super Lawyers and 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers (2024), Lawdragon, and 2019 America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys.
