Andrew R. Biehl

Andrew R. Biehl is a lawyer at Baird Holm LLP who represents lenders in financing transactions and creditors’ rights matters. He works with national, regional, and community financial institutions on structuring and documenting loans. Andrew earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska College of Arts and Sciences. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska College of Business Administration. He received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law.

Andrew spent 13 years at a regional firm concentrating primarily on financing and creditors’ rights before joining his current practice. His earlier banking experience included managing a substantial commercial real estate loan portfolio. He participated in acquiring and managing distressed assets from a failed financial institution. His background provides practical insight into lending relationships, secured transactions, distressed loans, commercial property financing, and creditor remedies.

Andrew R. Biehl brings legal and banking experience to complex financial and commercial matters. He is admitted in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota, along with several federal and bankruptcy courts. He formerly taught Commercial Real Estate Finance and Investment as an adjunct professor at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. He is a past chairman of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Bank Attorneys Section.
