Andrew Poole focuses on Criminal Defense and SSDI for clients across Duluth and the surrounding communities. Andrew completed his undergraduate studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He earned a BA in Economics/Spanish in 2007, developing strong analytical and communication skills. He later attended William Mitchell College of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor in 2010 and served as editor of the Law Raza Journal of Law and Diversity.

Andrew handles a wide range of criminal matters, including homicide, kidnapping and stalking, criminal sexual conduct, assault, domestic assault, arson, burglary, theft, drug sale and possession, driving while impaired, and hit-and-runs. His experience also includes harassment and restraining orders, probation violations, vehicle forfeiture, expungement, trespassing, and student-related offenses.

Andrew also represents clients in military law matters and Social Security Disability cases. His SSDI work focuses on presenting clear medical and vocational records. In criminal defense, he prepares cases through detailed evidence review, strategic motions, and trial readiness to pursue dismissals, reduced charges, or favorable resolutions.

Andrew began his legal career with the Office Of The Public Defender, where he defended the accused in high-volume criminal cases. He later served with the United States Army as Judge Advocate, Trial Defense, and Special Victim Counsel, gaining extensive experience in investigations, hearings, and disciplined legal advocacy.

Andrew has received multiple professional recognitions for his legal work and service. He has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and selected among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by National Trial Lawyers.
