Andrew M. Collins is a shareholder at Erickson Sederstrom who advises businesses and individuals on business law, intellectual property, real estate, and litigation matters. He has served business clients for more than ten years. He provides practical, goal-focused counsel to companies of different sizes and at different stages of development. He helps clients address legal needs involving formation, startup planning, daily operations, governance, commercial relationships, acquisitions, disputes, and long-term business strategy.

Andrew earned his B.A. from Creighton University in 2005. He received his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 2008. His education gave him a foundation for handling the business, property, and dispute-related concerns that arise during a company’s development. He continues to apply that training when evaluating risks, explaining legal options, and creating strategies that reflect each client’s objectives.

Andrew serves as general counsel to businesses from their formation and startup stages through operations, governance, mergers, and acquisitions. He also represents clients in complex commercial and insurance disputes. He guides clients through negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, administrative proceedings, quasi-judicial matters, trials, and appeals. He is admitted to practice in Nebraska and Iowa, allowing him to assist clients with business and litigation matters across both states.

Andrew M. Collins contributes to professional, charitable, educational, and community organizations throughout Nebraska. He belongs to the Nebraska and Iowa bar associations. He supports Heart Ministry Center, Hilltoppers Baseball of Nebraska, CHI Lakeside Community Foundation Board, EPS Essential Pregnancy Services, and Arch Foundation, Inc. He previously participated in Leadership Omaha Class 39 and the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy.
