Andrew Hata

Andrew Hata is a partner at Dickson Frohlich Phillips Burgess and head of the firm’s Transactional Department. His practice focuses on real estate transactions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and corporate finance. He brings a strategic perspective to business and legal matters, offering comprehensive counsel to a wide range of clients.

Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2013 and holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Washington, which he earned in 2007.

Andrew is licensed to practice law in both Washington and Hawaii. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced law in Hawaii, where he represented individual and institutional clients on matters ranging from small business transactions to large-scale deals involving international private equity funds. His background also includes work as a financial analyst and securities broker, as well as founding and managing several businesses. This multifaceted experience allows him to approach legal challenges with a deep understanding of both financial and legal frameworks.
