Andrew D. Hall

Andrew D. Hall is an Iowa litigation attorney at Grefe & Sidney, P.L.C., with more than three decades of experience in insurance defense and civil disputes. His practice includes appellate matters, bad faith and insurance coverage, construction defects, products liability, personal injury law, and workers’ compensation. He has practiced since 1990 and serves as managing member of his firm’s Litigation Division. His work includes automobile personal injury claims, premises liability matters, and construction disputes. He represents clients in state and federal courts, appellate courts, and proceedings before the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Andrew earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford University and his J.D. from the University of Iowa. His legal education provided the foundation for a career focused on litigation, insurance disputes, and trial advocacy. During law school, he served on the Iowa Law Review and received an American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in criminal procedure.

Andrew has developed extensive courtroom experience across insurance and civil litigation matters. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation-only organization of experienced trial advocates and judges. He is a graduate of the Defense Counsel Trial Academy and speaks to professional groups on trial practice and insurance issues.
