Andrew C. Walker

Andrew C. Walker is a dedicated Minnesota bankruptcy attorney at Walker & Walker Law Offices, PLLC. With over a decade of legal experience and deep roots in the practice, Andrew focuses on bankruptcy for consumers in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in 2011. He holds a B.A. in Political Science, Legal Studies, and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Andrew has practiced bankruptcy law since 2011 and has been involved with the firm since 2008. His legal work includes notable appellate victories, such as McCarthy v. Brevik Law, which upheld a Chapter 13 debtor’s right to use trustee avoidance powers, and In re Walz, which protected a client’s inherited home from liquidation. In In re Thomas, he successfully argued that homestead proceeds were exempt under Minnesota law, establishing a key precedent for bankruptcy exemptions.

Before entering law, Andrew served in the Peace Corps in Albania, where he taught English and helped students write grant proposals—an experience that deepened his appreciation for the U.S. legal system. Today, he applies that same commitment to service by helping Minnesotans escape the burden of unmanageable debt.
