Amy Kraus

Amy Kraus is a Partner at Kraus Law Group, where she focuses exclusively on vaccine injury litigation. She represents clients nationwide in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. She works closely with individuals and families to provide personalized guidance and strong advocacy throughout each case.

Amy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School. She also studied as a third-year visiting student at Georgetown University Law Center and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, building a strong foundation for her legal career.

Amy began working on vaccine injury cases in 2008 as a staff attorney at the Health and Disability Law Clinic at Chicago Kent College of Law. She helped create the Vaccine Injury Law Project, which focused only on vaccine injury cases and provided support to affected clients.

Amy handles all aspects of vaccine injury litigation and values building close relationships with her clients. She takes time to understand each case and provides individualized support. She focuses on clear communication and careful preparation to help clients through the legal process.

Before focusing on vaccine injury law, Amy worked in civil rights, public interest law, and criminal defense. She held roles with the ACLU National Prison Project, Chicago Legal Aid to Incarcerated Mothers, and the Office of the Illinois State Appellate Defender.

In 2022, Amy co-founded Kraus Law Group with her husband and law partner. Together with their team, they focus fully on representing clients in vaccine injury claims. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
