Amy began her academic path at Marshall University, where she earned a B.A. in Economics in 1994. She earned her Juris Doctor at the West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in 1997. That same year, she was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, and she later gained admission to practice before the United States District Court for both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.

Amy’s professional journey has included a wide range of responsibilities in government and legal administration. She served as City Attorney for the City of South Charleston, gaining valuable experience advising on municipal issues. She then became Assistant General Counsel for the Department of Administration for the State of West Virginia. Following that, she contributed her knowledge to the West Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission and BrickStreet Insurance, where she focused on compliance and policy-related matters.

Amy has dedicated much of her current practice to guiding individuals and families through estate planning, helping them prepare for the future and safeguard their interests. In addition, she has handled numerous real estate cases, offering advice and representation in transactions, property disputes, and title-related issues. Her ability to combine knowledge from her varied legal background allows her to serve clients with a comprehensive understanding of the law.
