Amy Jenkins Farrar is an attorney whose work centers on guiding individuals and families through legal issues connected to aging, planning, and legacy decisions. Amy began her academic journey at Wake Forest University, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science, 2000, cum laude. She later pursued legal studies at the University of Mississippi College of Law, completing her J.D. in 2005 cum laude. During law school, she served as Membership Director of the Mississippi Law Journal and participated on the Moot Court Board.

Amy’s legal career started with a judicial clerkship for Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Cornelia A. Clark, providing valuable appellate and judicial insight. She then spent six years practicing at a respected Nashville law firm, where she handled complex legal matters. In 2012, she moved into independent practice, combining courtroom experience with strategic planning skills.

Amy has received multiple professional recognitions during her career. She earned the Hugh C. “Buzzy” Clayton memorial scholarship, awarded for academic standing, character, and community service. She was also named a Mid-South SuperLawyers “Rising Star” for six consecutive years and received the Clients’ ChoiceAward 2020 for client satisfaction.
