Amy E. Schuh

Amy E. Schuh is a partner at Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia who leads the firm’s corporate ethics and compliance practice and co-leads its life sciences industry team. A former litigator and senior in-house compliance executive, she advises companies on building, improving, and streamlining ethics and compliance programs. Her work includes maturity and risk assessments, investigations processes, anti-corruption programs, and ethics-and-compliance due diligence and integration connected with mergers and acquisitions.

Amy earned a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as managing articles editor of the Villanova Law Review. She earned a B.S. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. She is admitted in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her legal training and extensive in-house background support counseling that combines litigation awareness, compliance program design, investigations, and corporate risk management.

Amy previously served as senior vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer for a major information technology services company, where she enhanced its global compliance and anti-corruption program and worked with the US Department of Justice and US Securities and Exchange Commission regarding reporting obligations tied to an FCPA resolution. She also led global investigations for a major international pharmaceutical company and earlier developed a compliance program for a Fortune 10 company.

Amy E. Schuh is recognized for work involving life sciences, corporate investigations, white-collar matters, and compliance. She serves on the Law360 Compliance Editorial Advisory Board and is a longtime leader with the National Veterans Legal Services Program, including board and co-chair roles.
