His family practice includes divorce, dissolution, custody disputes, spousal support, uncontested divorce, collaborative divorce, mediation, and same-sex divorce. The firm provides estate planning, landlord law, and business law services, allowing him to address legal issues that can intersect with family finances and property.
Ami earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in history from Yeshiva University. He later attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he received an honors scholarship and earned concentrations in Family Law and Litigation. During his legal education, he clerked for the New York City Family Court, gaining practical exposure to family proceedings before beginning work with a family law firm in Manhattan.
Ami practiced with larger firms in New York City and Cleveland before establishing Zukowsky Law. His work is centered on family disputes and modern client service, with an emphasis on communication, accessibility, and efficient practice management. He represents clients in matters involving divorce, custody, support, mediation, and other family issues while maintaining additional services in estate planning, landlord matters, and business law.
Ami Zukowsky brings family-law training, court-clerk experience, and work in large-firm environments to his own practice. His background in family business and legal practice informs his approach to matters involving personal relationships, property, support obligations, and business interests. Through Zukowsky Law, he helps clients evaluate legal options, organize information, and work toward resolutions in disputes that can affect family structure, finances, housing, and long-term planning.
