Jennifer A. Riester

Jennifer A. Riester serves as of counsel at the Law Offices of Cara L. Santosuosso, where she advises clients on family law matters. Her work includes complex domestic relations litigation and issues that arise from the initial filing of a case through appeals and post-decree proceedings. Jennifer previously spent more than ten years concentrating on mass tort litigation before moving into family law. She draws on that broader litigation experience when evaluating disputes involving families.

Jennifer earned a degree in Psychology from Cleveland State University and received her J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1999. Her education in psychology adds perspective to disputes that can involve changing family relationships, while her legal training supports courtroom advocacy and case analysis. She is admitted to practice in Ohio and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

Jennifer has appeared in state and federal courts across the country during her work in mass tort litigation. She developed substantial experience in document management and litigation management, handling cases with complex records and procedural requirements. After transitioning to family law, she worked extensively with clients in domestic relations disputes at another local firm. Her current work draws on that experience in cases involving trial, appeals, administrative issues, and post-decree legal questions.
