Amanda Raye Thornton is a seasoned family law attorney serving Middle Tennessee. Her practice is rooted in compassion, accessibility, and results. Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law in 2007 after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University in 2003. She was admitted to practice in Tennessee later that year and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2009.

Amanda’s legal career began with Roberts & Associates in Nashville, where she focused on family law. She later co-founded Roberts, Thornton & Pence in 2013 and then joined Thornton & Pence in 2019. She continues to focus exclusively on family law, appearing in circuit, chancery, juvenile, and general sessions courts and handling appellate cases before the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
