Alysse Giles

Alysse Giles is an Ohio attorney who focuses on representing individuals and families through complex legal challenges. Her practice centers on family law, civil litigation, juvenile matters, adoptions, and criminal defense. Alysse completed her undergraduate education at Ohio University, earning degrees in English, pre-law, and Political Science. While attending Ohio University, she served as Vice President of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honors society. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2011 and graduated cum laude.

Alysse demonstrated strong advocacy skills during law school as an oralist and brief writer on the Criminal Law Moot Court team. She also received a CALI award for excellence and served as an ambassador for incoming students. These experiences helped build a solid foundation in legal research, writing, and courtroom presentation.

Alysse was admitted to practice law in Ohio after passing the July 2011 bar exam. She began her career as a solo practitioner, gaining hands-on experience across multiple practice areas. This early responsibility strengthened her ability to manage cases independently while maintaining close, responsive relationships with clients.

Alysse expanded her professional experience by working as an independent contractor and later as an Associate and partner at the White Law Office. During this period, she handled a wide range of matters and developed courtroom experience prosecuting cases in the Knox County Juvenile Court, further deepening her knowledge of juvenile law.

Alysse maintains active involvement within the legal community. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Knox County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
