Allan P. Sloan is a seasoned trial attorney. He has decades of experience representing victims of personal injury, truck accidents, and wrongful death. Allan is a managing litigation partner at Icaza & Burgess. He specializes in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. He also handles traumatic brain injury and child abuse cases.
A 1994 J.D. graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law, Allan excelled academically. He earned honors, including membership in the Order of Wig and Robe and the John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court. He also won the 1994 University of South Carolina Trial Competition. He was a member of the ABA Trial Competition Team. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of the South in 1990, where he was a member of the Order of the Gownsmen.
Allan has served as lead counsel in over 80 wrongful death and serious injury cases involving commercial trucks, achieving numerous favorable outcomes for his clients. His exceptional legal work has earned him prestigious accolades, including an AV Preeminent Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognition in South Carolina Super Lawyers, and membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates.
