Alison Boyer

Alison Boyer is a member of Miller & Martin PLLC in Atlanta and serves as Vice-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Department. She previously chaired its Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice focuses on representing institutional investors, lenders, and developers in commercial real estate financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. She handles transactions involving office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality properties, advising clients on significant ownership and financing decisions.

Boyer received a J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2004, where she served as an associate editor of the Georgia State Law Review and was an Atlanta Law School Scholar. She earned a B.A. in International Finance from the University of Georgia in 1999. Her education supports the legal and financial analysis involved in structuring sophisticated property transactions.

Her representative work includes an Atlanta office property sale, a national homebuilder acquisition, a $190 million mortgage and mezzanine financing for a New York City office tower, and a construction loan for a Boston multifamily development. She has also advised on mixed-use acquisitions, industrial property portfolio loans, and financing and disposition arrangements for other major commercial assets. After earlier experience at an international law firm, she returned to Miller & Martin in 2015.

Alison Boyer has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law and by Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite. She has participated in commercial real estate organizations and provided pro bono service through the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. Her leadership and transactional experience help investors, developers, and lenders navigate legal and financing requirements associated with substantial real estate projects.
