Alexander F. Ransom is a Washington criminal defense lawyer whose practice focuses on serious felonies, misdemeanors, DUI cases, and police misconduct matters. Alexander studied at Western Washington University and later graduated from Fairhaven College’s Law and Diversity Program. During law school, Alexander interned with the City of Kent Prosecutor’s Office, where he prosecuted misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors and conducted jury trials. After law school, he served as a Deputy Criminal Prosecutor in the Tribal Court of the Lummi Nation, handling felony and misdemeanor offenses. He later moved into criminal defense as a Deputy City Public Defender in Bellingham Municipal Court, gaining broad experience in DUI, domestic violence, assault, and property crime cases.

Since entering private practice, Alexander F. Ransom has continued to focus on criminal defense with a high standard of service and trial advocacy. He has obtained six-figure settlements in police misconduct cases and strengthened his trial background through seminars with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, earning a diploma in Advanced Trial Advocacy. His professional work reflects deep courtroom experience, strong legal judgment, and a clear commitment to defending clients facing serious criminal charges.
