Alex Sanchez is a highly experienced bankruptcy attorney and co-founder of Sanchez Garrison & Associates, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Sanchez earned his B.A. in Political Science from Boston College and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs (Government) from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Sanchez began his legal career in the early 1990s, focusing on commercial banking and bankruptcy law. He later transitioned into nonprofit leadership roles, including Executive Director positions at Esperanza and the Hispanic National Bar Association, where he advanced education and professional development for underserved communities. He also served as President and CEO of United Neighborhood Centers of America and as Senior Vice President at United Way of America, where he directed major community investment efforts across the nation.

In 2009, Alex Sanchez returned to government as Maryland’s Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, followed by his role as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Baltimore. These positions gave him direct experience shaping policy and protecting consumers and workers. Since founding his firm in 2016, Mr. Sanchez has focused on providing personalized, client-centered legal services in bankruptcy law.
