Aleksandar Cuic

Aleksandar Cuic is an Ohio immigration lawyer and partner at Brown Immigration Law who leads a litigation practice focused largely on removal and deportation defense. He has appeared in more than 20 immigration courts across the US and also handles family-based and employment-based immigration matters. His work includes adjustment of status, citizenship, change of status, business immigration, federal agency matters, and writs of mandamus. He approaches complex cases with extensive courtroom experience, careful legal analysis, and attention to the serious consequences immigration proceedings can have for individuals and families.

Mr. Cuic earned a J.D. and an M.B.A. from Cleveland State University in 2006. He previously completed a B.S. in International Business and a B.A. in Russian Language and Culture at Bowling Green State University in 2003. He also received a Russian Language Certification from St. Petersburg State University in 2001.

Mr. Cuic is admitted to the Supreme Court of Ohio, the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the US Supreme Court. Before concentrating his career in immigration law, he worked at Koblentz & Koblentz from 2005 to 2007. Since 2017, he has also served as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where his academic work complements his litigation and professional experience.

Aleksandar Cuic has memberships in the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Serbian American Bar Association of America, and several regional bar groups.
