Aisha Postell

Aisha Postell is an attorney focused on insurance defense and coverage litigation, intellectual property matters, and commercial litigation and transactions. She provides practical legal guidance across complex cases, combining careful analysis with a strong understanding of both litigation strategy and business-related legal concerns.

Aisha earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2014, where she concentrated her studies in Intellectual Property Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Regional Studies from Cornell University, received in 2009, building a strong academic foundation.

During law school, Aisha served as an extern to the Honorable Martha T. Royster in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Law Division. She was also recognized for her commitment to public service through Seton Hall Law’s Pro Bono Service Program, reflecting her dedication to community engagement.

Aisha has experience handling insurance defense and coverage matters, including claims involving homeowners’ liability, commercial property, and professional liability. She also works on intellectual property and commercial matters, offering clients clear guidance through various stages of litigation and transactional work.

In 2016, Aisha completed a secondment in the London insurance market with a leading Lloyd’s syndicate. During this time, she worked on U.S. claims and gained experience in coverage analysis, claims investigation, resolution strategy, and litigation oversight.

Aisha has been selected to the Super Lawyers New Jersey Rising Stars list for 2024 and 2025. This recognition highlights her professional achievement and commitment to excellence, placing her among a select group of attorneys recognized for strong performance in their practice areas.
