Afiya F. Hinkson

Afiya F. Hinkson is a Georgia attorney who has spent more than a decade building a respected reputation in multiple areas of law. She continued her education at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, receiving her Juris Doctorate in 2009. In a groundbreaking moment, she became the first African American Special Assistant Attorney General for Forsyth County, representing the Department of Family and Children Services. Afiya is also a registered mediator, certified in 2018, and works to resolve conflicts without the high costs of extended litigation.
