About

Adam Schaye is a Partner in Miller Mayer’s Immigration and Civil Litigation practice groups in Ithaca, New York. His immigration practice focuses exclusively on EB-5 regional center, developer, and investor representation. He advises US companies developing EB-5 projects across the country and represents investors from Asia, South Asia, Europe, and South and Central America. His work addresses the legal structure, immigration requirements, documentation, and government processes involved in investment-based immigration matters and related disputes.

Adam earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1999 and completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College. His legal education provided the foundation for a practice combining immigration law and litigation. That background supports analysis of federal immigration requirements, project documents, investor issues, administrative delays, and court procedures. His work requires close coordination between immigration strategy and the commercial structures underlying EB-5 investments, along with careful attention to changing agency processes and litigation risks.

Adam has represented companies and individuals in a broad range of litigation matters in addition to his EB-5 work. His experience includes trial and appellate issues and mandamus proceedings seeking to compel governmental adjudications. That combination allows him to address situations where immigration matters intersect with federal court procedure, agency delay, or contested legal questions. His representation of developers, regional centers, and investors gives him experience with EB-5 matters from several perspectives, including project formation, investor concerns, and government review.

Adam Schaye is a member of the New York State bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. His Ithaca-based practice focuses on EB-5 matters while drawing on civil litigation experience when immigration-related disputes require court action. He helps developers, regional centers, companies, and investors understand project requirements, prepare filings, manage legal risks, and respond to delays or disputes. His work combines immigration counsel, commercial understanding, and litigation strategy in a highly specialized area of investment-based US immigration law.
