Jillian Rosen

Jillian Rosen is a partner in the Litigation Department at Pollack, Pollack, Isaac & DeCicco, LLP and works from the firm’s Manhattan office. Her practice focuses on appellate litigation, substantive motion writing, and oral argument for plaintiffs’ attorneys. She has handled a substantial body of appellate work before New York courts, including more than 170 reported Appellate Division decisions and matters that reached the New York State Court of Appeals.

Rosen earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis. Her undergraduate and legal studies developed a strong foundation in research, persuasive writing, legal analysis, and issue framing. Those skills are central to appellate work, where careful review of the record, controlling law, preservation questions, and procedural requirements can determine how effectively a client’s position is presented to a reviewing court.

Rosen joined the firm’s Litigation/Appellate department in 2007 and has devoted her practice to appeals, substantive motions, and courtroom advocacy before New York appellate and state courts. Her work requires identifying dispositive legal issues, developing written arguments from complex records, and presenting those arguments at oral argument. She is admitted in New York and in the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Jillian Rosen has been recognized for her appellate work and professional record, including selection to Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2022 and Lawyers of Distinction in 2018. Her published appellate experience reflects sustained involvement in New York civil litigation and motion practice.
