About
Adam S. Trombly brings a powerful background in prosecution to his current legal work, using his trial skills to help injured clients seek justice. He spent nearly eight years as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where he led jury and bench trials involving serious violent offenses.
Adam began his legal journey with an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2014. During law school, he was awarded a three-year “Scholar in Law” scholarship and took part in the Dagen-Legomsky International Public Interest Fellowship.
Adam worked as a staff editor on the Journal of Law and Policy while in law school. His fellowship led him to The Hague in 2013, where he interned full-time with the prosecution team for the Radovan Karadzic case at the International Criminal Court for the Former Yugoslavia, gaining valuable global legal insight.
Adam began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judith Bartnoff at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. This early experience helped him build a solid foundation in courtroom procedures and case analysis before moving into criminal prosecution work.
Adam’s time in the Strategic Investigations Unit focused on violent repeat offenders and gang cases. He tried around 20 jury trials and 70 bench trials, covering crimes such as armed carjackings, robberies, and homicides. He now applies that deep trial experience to advocate for individuals seriously harmed by negligence or wrongdoing.
Adam S. Trombly now channels his courtroom experience to protect the rights of injury victims, offering determined representation shaped by years of high-stakes litigation. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association for the DC Metropolitan Area and the American Association for Justice. He holds licenses to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C., which strengthens his ability to serve a broad client base with skilled representation.
