Abigail Simmons is a dedicated family law attorney who brings her clients compassion, insight, and strong advocacy. Since her admission to the Illinois Bar in 2021, she has focused exclusively on family law, representing clients in sensitive matters such as divorce, custody, and child support across diverse and often complex legal settings.
Abigail earned her Juris Doctor from UIC Law School (formerly John Marshall Law School) in 2021, graduating with a concentration in International Human Rights Law. Her academic experience also includes a history degree from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, which she completed in 2017. While in law school, she spent three years as a student clinician in the International Human Rights Clinic.
Abigail gained practical experience during law school through clerkships at several family law firms. These roles helped her deeply understand the family court system and sharpen her litigation and negotiation skills. In September 2023, she joined Davis & Associates, further solidifying her commitment to family law.
Abigail’s legal practice covers various domestic matters, including divorce proceedings, parenting time disputes, guardianship, child support enforcement, and domestic violence protection.
