Abigail M. Cohen

Abigail M. Cohen is a Senior Associate at Gladstone, Weissman, Hirschberg & Schneider, P.A. She focuses on marital and family law and is Board Certified in Marital and Family Law by the Florida Bar. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Abigail earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University in 1993, where she ranked 7th in her class. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida, completed in 1986, showing strong academic performance.

Abigail has represented clients in litigation and trial in both state and federal courts since her admission to the Florida Bar in 1993. Since 2012, she has focused only on marital and family law, including agreements, divorce, paternity, and post-judgment matters.

Abigail is trained in Collaborative Law and is a member of Choose Collaborative, a South Palm Beach County group. She also serves as Co-Chair of the Professional Outreach Committee for the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals, supporting the use of private and respectful dispute resolution.

Abigail has received many honors, including selection to The Best Lawyers in America for Family Law from 2024 to 2026 and for Collaborative Law in 2025 and 2026. She has also been named a Super Lawyer from 2024 to 2026 and recognized in Florida Trend’s Women Leaders in Law.
