Aaron T. Olejniczak

Aaron T. Olejniczak is a partner and registered patent attorney at Andrus Intellectual Property Law. His practice covers patents, trademarks and copyrights, intellectual property litigation, IP transactions, licensing, and client counseling, with particular experience in mechanical technologies. He represents clients in federal court disputes, appellate matters, Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, trademark opposition and cancellation matters, and other proceedings involving the creation, protection, enforcement, and commercial use of intellectual property.

Olejniczak earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2002 and a B.S. in Pre-Professional Studies in Science and Business from the University of Notre Dame in 1998, with study in biology and accounting. In law school, he participated on the Patent Moot Court Team and led the intellectual property student organization. His technical, business, and legal training supports work that often requires understanding both technology and the commercial value of intellectual property rights.

Olejniczak has served as lead counsel in patent jury trials, handled appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and represented clients in inter partes review and reexamination proceedings. His work also includes trademark and copyright disputes, portfolio management, patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, transactions, and opinions concerning intellectual property rights. Across these matters, he helps clients evaluate enforcement risks, protect innovations and brands, and structure agreements involving valuable technology and creative assets.
