Aaron P. Marks

Aaron P. Marks is the founder of Marks Law Group, LLC, a Decatur, Georgia personal injury practice established in 2009. He represents clients injured in car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, and rideshare crashes, along with people affected by medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries, unsafe premises, and non-emergency medical transport accidents. He also advocates for families pursuing wrongful death claims and handles cases involving negligent businesses, healthcare providers, and commercial carriers.

Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to a photographer and schoolteacher, Aaron first saw the power of litigation after his father survived a plane crash. The resulting proceedings exposed a pilot and aircraft owner who had violated FAA regulations. Aaron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with honors from Wheaton College in Massachusetts in 2000, including a year at Trinity College Dublin. He received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2007 and spent two years at King & Spalding in Atlanta before establishing his practice.

In an early high-profile case, Aaron represented an injured client in a lawsuit against a major retail chain after larger firms had turned down the matter. He challenged the credibility of a defense witness during litigation, helping advance a case that had lasted two and a half years toward a favorable settlement after one day of mediation. He has also written numerous articles and legal guides on non-emergency medical transport accidents, Georgia trucking accidents, and bicycle accidents, drawing on his personal injury litigation experience.

Aaron P. Marks was selected to Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2026 after receiving Rising Stars recognition from 2015 through 2017. He holds a 10/10 Avvo rating and belongs to the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, DeKalb Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, National Trial Lawyers, and American Association for Justice.
