He later co-founded Samalin & Bock, P.C., focusing on matrimonial, real estate, and personal injury matters. His earlier service as a law guardian gave him valuable insight into protecting the rights of children in contested family disputes. After serving two elected terms as Town Supervisor, he returned to private practice, continuing his concentration in family and matrimonial law.
