A. Joshua Podoll is a partner at Williams & Connolly in Washington, DC whose practice centers on complex civil litigation and government investigations. Josh earned a B.A. from Cornell University, summa cum laude, with majors in Classical Civilization and Comparative Literature. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, where he helped found the Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law and later served as Editor in Chief. After law school, he clerked for Judge Danny J. Boggs of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, strengthening his foundation in appellate advocacy.

Josh has represented clients in antitrust trials, False Claims Act jury trials, opioid-related public nuisance litigation, financial fraud disputes, and cases involving defamation, securities, arbitration agreements, and whistleblower issues.
