Zach Mortazavi

Zach Mortazavi is an attorney at Fry & Elder, one of Tulsa’s oldest and most established law firms, with roots dating back to 1932. He focuses his practice on family law matters and helps clients through difficult times involving divorce, custody, support, and protective orders.

Zach earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2021. He also earned his B.A. in History from the University of Oklahoma in 2018. After graduating from Sapulpa High School, he became his family’s first college graduate and first Juris Doctorate holder.

Zach primarily handles divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, protective orders, modifications, premarital agreements, relocation of minor children, juvenile deprived proceedings, and grandparent rights. He works to guide clients through a legal system they may not understand while protecting their interests with care and focus.

Zach recently passed the Oklahoma Bar examination and was sworn in on May 11. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa Bar Association. His goal is for people facing divorce or child custody concerns to call him at Fry & Elder.

Zach credits much of his work ethic to his father, who came to the United States from Iran and runs Steak & Eggs in Sapulpa. Seeing his father’s hard work helped shape his drive, discipline, and focus on creating opportunities through education and service.
