Zach Herschensohn

Zach Herschensohn is the founding attorney of Herschensohn Law, PLLC, a personal injury practice with an office in Kent, Washington. He represents people injured in motor vehicle collisions, workplace accidents, unsafe premises, and other incidents involving negligence. His work also includes maritime injury, product liability, medical negligence, and sexual abuse claims. He pursues compensation through negotiation and litigation when clients face difficult insurers or defendants.

Zach received a B.A. in Communication Theory with a minor in Environmental Science from Western Washington University in 1997. He earned a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2002. During law school, he participated in moot court and was a finalist in the James F. Niehoff Trial Competition. His academic and advocacy training provided a foundation for the litigation work that became the focus of his career.

After beginning practice in 2003, Zach worked at Levinson Friedman in Seattle, where he encountered Jones Act cases, maritime injuries, product liability, and other personal injury disputes. He has represented injured seamen, construction workers exposed to harmful substances, medical negligence claimants, and automobile accident victims. His appellate work on behalf of injured workers includes the published cases Gibson, Lunsford, and Coulter, illustrating experience beyond trial-level proceedings.

Zach Herschensohn is admitted in Washington and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. He has secured significant recoveries for plaintiffs and has handled matters across Washington as well as in other states. His professional affiliations include the Washington State Association for Justice and the King County Bar Association, where he has served as a board member and pro bono volunteer. His practice emphasizes preparation, negotiation, and consistent advocacy for injured clients.
