William F. “Trey” Underwood

William F. “Trey” Underwood is a Georgia-based trial lawyer who focuses his practice on personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. As the founder of Underwood Law LLC, Trey has spent over a decade fighting for individuals harmed by workplace accidents, vehicle collisions, and negligence—recovering millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.

Trey earned his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he served as president of the school’s chapter of the American Association for Justice. He began his legal career at the Dougherty Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, handling felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile prosecutions. This early trial experience laid the foundation for his courtroom strength and client advocacy.

In 2010, Trey opened his own firm to focus on helping injured individuals rather than large corporations or insurance companies. He brings deep knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and personal injury litigation to every case, guiding clients through complex legal processes with skill and empathy.

Trey has received national recognition for his legal work.
