William D. Massey is a highly respected criminal defense attorney with over 38 years of experience. He is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Criminal Trial Specialist and has dedicated his entire legal career to defending individuals facing serious charges. His practice focuses on state and federal criminal defense, including white-collar crime, homicide, drug offenses, sex crimes, and other complex cases. William earned his B.A. in 1978 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He then obtained his J.D. in 1981 from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, Tennessee.

Throughout his career, William has defended clients in Tennessee and multiple other states, including Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Kentucky. His expertise in criminal law has made him a trusted advocate for individuals facing serious legal challenges. As the founder and senior instructor of The Tennessee Criminal Defense College, he has spent 19 years training other attorneys in effective trial strategies. He has also spoken at legal seminars across the country, sharing his knowledge with fellow lawyers.
