Whitney advises individuals, families, farmers, and business owners on estate planning, probate matters, business law, and real estate concerns. Her work includes preparing Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Living Will Directives, and marital agreements. She also helps clients create practical succession plans designed to protect family interests and long-term financial goals.
Whitney earned a bachelor’s degree in History and International Studies from Center College in 2009. She later earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in May 2012. Her educational background helped build a strong foundation for handling estate, business, and property matters with careful legal analysis.
Whitney has practiced law in Paducah since 2012 and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Over the years, she has guided clients through legal matters involving estate administration, probate proceedings, and trust-related responsibilities with clear communication and dependable support.
Whitney regularly represents executors, administrators, trustees, beneficiaries, guardians, conservators, and wards in estate and guardianship proceedings. Her experience includes helping families manage legal responsibilities during difficult transitions while addressing probate administration concerns efficiently. She also assists clients with documents and planning strategies intended to reduce confusion and support future decision-making needs.
Whitney works with a wide range of businesses, including limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, professional service entities, and non-profit organizations. She advises clients on operating agreements, employment agreements, stock restriction agreements, and contract matters. Her background also includes assisting buyers and sellers involved in business acquisitions, mergers, and organizational transitions.
Whitney Englert Rile also assists clients with real estate transactions, zoning concerns, leases, mortgages, landlord-tenant issues, eminent domain matters, subdivision applications, and property disputes. In 2017, Super Lawyers recognized her as a Kentucky Rising Star for Estate Planning and Probate.
