Wayne earned a B.S. in biology from Utah State University, giving him a careful and analytical approach to complex facts. He then received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. He was admitted to the Utah State Bar in 2002, the Idaho State Bar in 2008, and the Arizona State Bar in 2009. He is also admitted in federal courts in Utah and Idaho.

Wayne began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Utah Attorney General’s Office in St. George. He later served as a deputy county attorney with the Washington County Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted high-profile and complex felony cases. He also practiced civil rights litigation and criminal defense in Salt Lake City before returning to Cache Valley. In 2011, he became a founding partner of the firm and continues to handle a wide range of matters.
