W. Travis Patterson

W. Travis Patterson is a Texas personal injury lawyer and managing partner at Patterson Law Group, representing plaintiffs in serious injury and wrongful death matters. His work includes car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, premises liability, traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, and first-party insurance claims. Travis earned both his business degree and law degree from The University of Texas at Austin. During law school, he clerked for the Honorable Lawrence E. Meyers of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. His education in business and law supports his work evaluating damages, developing litigation strategy, managing complex injury claims, and guiding clients through matters involving wrongful death, insurance disputes, catastrophic injuries, and substantial financial losses throughout representation.

Travis worked at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller in Fort Worth and Haynes and Boone in Dallas before building his current personal injury practice. He also served as a visiting prosecutor in Arlington Municipal Court. His background spans civil litigation, prosecution, and appellate-level legal research. His current firm reports more than $100 million recovered for clients, including the highest reported wrongful death settlement in Texas in 2024 for injured clients.
