​Vernon L. Jarboe

​Vernon L. Jarboe is an experienced attorney who has served clients in northeast Kansas for more than four decades. His legal practice at Sloan, Eisenbarth, Glassman, McEntire & Jarboe, LLC, focuses on appellate practice, business & commercial law & litigation, civil litigation, estate planning law & probate, land use, planning & zoning, and real estate transactions & litigation. Over the years, he has guided individuals, companies, and organizations through complex legal issues with practical solutions. He has also handled cases involving eminent domain and condemnation, areas that require strong legal knowledge and careful attention. Through his work, he helps clients understand their rights, protect their property interests, and resolve disputes.

Mr. Jarboe earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1980. He received his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 1977. Earlier, he completed his B.S. in Political Science from Washburn University in 1973. His academic training gave him a strong understanding of legal systems, business matters, and taxation. This education enables him to advise clients on complex real estate and business transactions.

Mr. Jarboe has represented clients in real estate transactions, land use issues, zoning matters, and civil litigation throughout his career. He also works with businesses on commercial law matters and guides estate planning and probate issues. In addition, he has significant experience with eminent domain cases, helping property owners understand legal procedures and protect their interests when government actions affect private property.

Vernon L. Jarboe also contributes to the legal and real estate communities through education and professional involvement. He frequently writes and lectures on real estate and construction law topics. He teaches courses for attorneys and real estate professionals and has been selected by the Kansas Association of Realtors® to help develop educational programs used by real estate professionals nationwide. Through these efforts, he helps others understand legal responsibilities and best practices in real estate and business law.
