Vanessa Marquez Nery

Vanessa Marquez Nery, Esq., is an Associate at Friedman Rodman Frank & Estrada, P.A., where she represents clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, construction accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall cases, and motor vehicle collisions. She brings a detail-oriented, client-focused approach to each matter, working to ensure injured individuals receive strong advocacy and clear guidance during difficult moments. Vanessa is known for her thorough case preparation, strong writing skills, and professional dedication to achieving meaningful results for those she serves.

Vanessa earned her B.A. in English with a minor in Communications from Florida State University, graduating summa cum laude in 2018. She continued at Florida State University College of Law, earning her J.D. in 2021. During law school, she served as a Student Ambassador, Teaching Assistant, and active member of multiple organizations, including SBA, CABA, PAD, the Women’s Law Symposium, and the Association of Criminal Justice.

Before entering private practice, Vanessa gained valuable legal training through significant pro bono and judicial experience. She contributed research and legal memoranda to the Innocence Project of Florida, assisting attorneys evaluating claims of wrongful conviction. She also served as a Judicial Intern with the 11th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, where she drafted memoranda, reviewed case files for accuracy, and worked closely with the judge to support case management.

Vanessa Marquez Nery is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division, the American Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association.
