Troy M. Keller

Troy M. Keller is a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP whose practice includes mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, corporate governance, and government relations. Based in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, he advises businesses on transactions and governance matters shaped by corporate strategy, regulatory considerations, and organizational decision-making. Keller earned a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1997. He received a B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1994, graduating cum laude. His legal and undergraduate education preceded a career spanning law-firm practice and corporate legal leadership. That background supports work involving negotiated transactions, board and governance questions, cross-border business arrangements, and matters that require coordination among legal, commercial, and public-policy considerations.

Keller previously served as Vice President of Corporate Law and Global Government Relations at Huntsman Corporation. He worked as securities and mergers and acquisitions counsel at Qwest and began his legal career with Sidley Austin in New York. These roles gave him experience from outside and inside corporate legal departments, including the practical demands of major transactions, securities-related work, government relations, and legal advice connected to business operations and executive decision-making.
