Traci A. Weiss

Traci A. Weiss is the owner of Weiss Family Law in Atlanta, Georgia, where she practices family law and serves as a Guardian ad Litem. With more than two decades of experience in family law and civil litigation, she handles divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, property division, paternity and legitimation, adoption, domestic violence, and marital agreement matters. Weiss helps clients understand their options while pursuing practical, child-focused resolutions.

Weiss earned a B.A. in History and Political Science from Binghamton University in 1997 and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2000. Her education provided a foundation in legal analysis, advocacy, and problem solving that supports her work in sensitive domestic relations matters. She is admitted in Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Before founding her firm, Weiss practiced with prominent Atlanta firms, including serving as a partner at Warner Bates and as an associate at Drew Eckl & Farnham. She also has experience with mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution and is a Certified Amicable Divorce Professional. Her specialized training includes LGBTQIA+ matters, child-centered divorce, and gray divorce, while her Guardian ad Litem work focuses on protecting children’s best interests in custody disputes.

Traci A. Weiss has held leadership roles in several Georgia legal organizations, including the Cobb County Bar Association’s Family Law Section and Women of the Bar Section. She currently serves as Legal Chair of the Amicable Divorce Network and chairs the State Bar of Georgia Law Practice Management Advisory Committee. Weiss has also received professional recognition including AV Preeminent Attorney recognition and selection to Super Lawyers, reflecting her long-standing work in family law, litigation, and professional service.
