Todd E. Brodeur is a respected transactional attorney. He has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate and corporate transactions. Todd is a member of the Fletcher Tilton PC’s Management Committee. He works in acquiring, selling, leasing, developing, and financing commercial properties and corporate assets. He has represented clients in complex transactions across Massachusetts and beyond. They include institutions, developers, lenders, retailers, and individual investors.

Todd earned his bachelor’s from Trinity College. He got his JD from Suffolk University Law School. There, he got a Public Interest Group Fellowship and served as a student attorney for the Public Defender’s Office. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

He consistently helps clients navigate complex zoning approvals, representing them before local Planning and Zoning Boards to secure essential project permits. His experience includes obtaining approvals for a 600,000-square-foot industrial warehouse, a 118-unit multifamily apartment development, and multiple retail and professional office buildings.

Todd is known for his strategic skills. He has successfully navigated high-stakes deals. They include a $50 million purchase of multifamily housing. They also include $100 million in tax-deferred exchanges. These involve TIC interests and complex easement issues. His permitting expertise has been key in bringing projects to life. They include the Kelly Square mixed-use development and a historic medical center.

Todd’s dedication to the legal profession is well-known. Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly named him a “Go To Real Estate Lawyer.” ALM.com and Law.com gave him the 2023 New England Legal Award for Best Mentor. Boston Magazine and Law & Politics Magazine have also recognized him as a Rising Star.

Todd leads the EcoTarium Board and the Shrewsbury Board of Assessors. His legal skill and civic dedication show his commitment to growth and innovation in his field and community.
