About
Timothy M. Stubson is a partner in Crowley Fleck’s Casper office and a member of the Commercial and Natural Resources Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation involving oil and gas, healthcare, construction, banking, and real estate. He regularly tries cases and handles appeals before the Wyoming Supreme Court. His work also includes appellate matters, business organizations, creditors’ rights, labor and employment, tort litigation, and disputes arising from major commercial relationships.
Tim earned a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Wyoming and a J.D., with honors, from the University of Wyoming School of Law. After law school, he clerked for US District Judge William F. Downes in the District of Wyoming. That federal clerkship gave him early experience with trial court procedure, briefing, and judicial decision-making. He has been with Crowley Fleck since 2011 and is admitted in Wyoming and several federal and tribal courts.
Tim represents clients in complex disputes that require trial preparation, industry knowledge, and appellate strategy. His practice spans commercial, natural resources, construction, banking, healthcare, real estate, employment, and tort matters. He has significant experience before the Wyoming Supreme Court and serves on the Permanent Rules Advisory Committee of the Wyoming Judicial Branch, where he assists with rules governing practice before the Wyoming Supreme Court and Wyoming Chancery Court.
Timothy M. Stubson has been recognized by Mountain States Super Lawyers for Business Litigation and by Chambers USA for general commercial litigation. He has served as president of the Natrona County Bar Association and has held community and civic leadership roles in Wyoming. His combined trial, appellate, rulemaking, and industry experience helps clients manage high-stakes disputes that involve complex facts, commercial relationships, and important legal questions.
