Thomas Rosta

Thomas E. Rosta is an Indiana attorney who concentrates on insurance defense and civil litigation. He represents clients in matters involving automobile and trucking accidents, construction defects, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, and employment claims. He also handles insurance coverage disputes, declaratory judgment actions, fraud claims, errors and omissions matters, and bad faith litigation. He serves as lead counsel in complex cases and provides strategic defense for businesses and insurers across Indiana.

Thomas Rosta earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University School of Law–Indianapolis in 1995. He received his B.A. in Government and International Relations, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1992. His strong academic record reflects his commitment to excellence and careful legal analysis. The skills he developed during law school continue to guide his thorough preparation and detailed approach to litigation and trial advocacy.

Admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1995, Thomas is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He has tried more than 150 cases to verdict as lead counsel throughout the state. His trial experience includes cases involving traumatic brain injuries, paraplegic and quadriplegic claims, and wrongful death. He has also served as an arbitrator and mediator in matters related to his field.

Thomas Rosta has handled proceedings before the Indiana Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Real Estate Licensing Board. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. In addition to his courtroom work, he regularly speaks at seminars on trial techniques, tort law updates, depositions, and personal injury litigation.
