Thomas McGill, Esquire has been a dedicated Bucks County criminal defense attorney since 1975. With decades of courtroom experience, he has defended clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. Thomas began his academic path at Lincoln University, graduating in 1968. He earned his Master’s Degree from Occidental University in 1972. In 1975, he completed his Juris Doctor at Notre Dame Law School. That same year, he was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and began his longstanding work in criminal defense.
Thomas gained early professional experience working for Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Kenneth Gibson at the Office of Newark Studies. In 1981, he was appointed Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission by Governor Thornburg, serving for ten years. These roles strengthened his ability to advocate for fairness and equality in legal proceedings.
Thomas also received the 1971 National Urban Fellowship Award, supported by the Ford Foundation, U.S. Conference of Mayors, and National League of Cities. Prior to his legal career, he managed a $3.5 million city program budget and served as a high school biology teacher in Philadelphia, demonstrating his lifelong commitment to public service.
